As an “entry-level” optoelectronic device, the photon is also an “entry-level” medical beauty project. Because of its wide application, quick effect, weak pain, and high comfort, it is highly sought after by beauty lovers.
However, in the clinical process, there is still a lot of feedback about some adverse reactions after receiving photon therapy, such as:
What happened to the acne breakout after photon treatment?
After doing the photon, the skin is drier.
After the photon treatment, the skin is persistently red.
…
Why do I get acne after the photon?
There are three main reasons:
One is that before photon treatment, there is some closed acne on the skin, and photon treatment will accelerate skin metabolism so that closed acne will metabolize in the form of acne in advance.
Second, photoelectric therapy will activate the skin’s self-healing function. The new sebaceous ducts of the follicles have not yet been established, so the sebum cannot be metabolized smoothly, resulting in the formation of acne.
The third is that the body’s excessive immune response is also one of the main causes of acne breakouts, such as acne-like allergies caused by photoallergic reactions after photoelectric surgery.
Why does the photon skin dry out?
There are two main reasons:
First, after the skin receives photoelectric treatment, the skin barrier will be somewhat damaged, the skin’s water-locking function will decrease, and the transepidermal water loss rate will increase so that the skin will be dry.
Second, after phototherapy, the skin will be stimulated to produce endogenous vitamin A, inhibiting sebaceous glands’ secretion. Therefore, after phototherapy, the skin will feel drier.
Why does the skin keep turning red after the photon treatment?
There are three main reasons:
First, the energy may be too high, and the correct treatment endpoint response is not grasped, resulting in excessive skin heat accumulation.
The second is that the repair is not carried out in time after the operation. Although the photon is non-invasive, it will damage the skin barrier to some extent. After all, the photoelectric treatment is a process of “breaking first and then standing up”, so the repair work after the operation is very necessary.
Third, there is no sun protection after surgery, immediate exercise, and inattentive diet.
